Description

The model was designed in a standard 1:300 scale. It consists of 2510 blocks and therefore will provide many hours of exciting construction and fun. We used high quality prints on the bricks, which accurately reproduce the painting and details of the original ship. These prints do not rub off, even during intense fun. The model comes with 6 micro airplanes and a special transparent block which, when attached to the board, can imitate the taking off plane.
To this set of USS Enterprise (CV-6) we added a special display stand, which is used to present the built aircraft carrier.

This set is extremely advanced, the edition is exclusive and therefore will certainly satisfy all fans of the Navy, history and modeling.

Excellent model, and captures the shape and several of the little details of the Enterprise very well. A good first effort for aircraft carriers and I would recommend it. My only critiques are (1) The color scheme. The grey hull and dark brown deck are pre-war; the navy blue scheme on here air group is 1944-1945. During wartime, the Enterprise (and all American ships) had a blue-grey deck and a blue-grey over grey camouflage on the hull. (2) The aircraft spot (this can be fixed somewhat with the parts from the set); the set by default has the planes spotted along the deck edge facing inward perpendicular to the flight deck as on a modern, angled-deck carrier; WWII straight deck carriers spotted their planes facing forward. (3) The airplanes; if individual aircraft types are too expensive to produce at 1/300 scale, at least a different generic fighter and bomber would have been nice (and quite obvious even at 1/300 scale).
